Without question, Juan Mata has been outstanding for Chelsea so far this season. Without him, Chelsea look a shadow of the side that poses teams such a threat from his brilliance alongside Eden Hazard and Oscar.

The Spanish magician has been awarded The Barclays Premier League Player of the Month for October, and on receiving the award Juan Mata said:

I’m very grateful for this award. It’s very important to keep going and improve because I am still young, The most important thing is the team and I am always trying to do my best to help the team.

I am sure every single Chelsea fan will agree that Juan Mata is instrumental in Chelsea’s attacking threat, and we need to keep him fit if we are to mount any serious challenge for honours this season.
