Manchester City fought off stiff competition from Barcelona to capture Malaga’s starlet Brahim Abdelkader Diaz for a fee believed to be around £300,000 rising to £2.4m . The 14 year old is touted to be the “New Messi” due to his amazing skills on the ball and his playmaking abilities.
Manchester City coach Manuel Pelligrini has successfully poached his former club for its prized asset and would have been delighted to see that the boy chose City over Barcelona. Barcelona had earlier failed to entice the boy by making him meet Messi,Xavi and Iniesta.
