AEW's Death Riders have been terrorizing the locker room since their formation. Even though they are not completely over with fans, their mode of operation is brutal and undeniable. AEW star Kris Statlander on how injuries affect a wrestler mentally
Kris Statlander has suffered several injuries throughout her career. Earlier this year, she was interviewed by Renee Paquette on AEW Close-Up. During this interaction, she explained how getting sidelined sometimes makes wrestlers completely lose their passion for the business.
"I feel like I’ve been thankfully far removed from my injuries at this point, but I do feel like I lost so much time because of my injuries and it just puts you in such a bad mental place. I see how injuries can affect people in negative and positive ways, some people really let the negativity get to them and they lose passion and interest and it’s disheartening to see," she said.
