With WWE Night of Champions right around the corner, Roman Reigns has decided to insert himself into the tag team division alongside Solo Sikoa. While this may be a clever ploy to keep his own titles safe, the return of a veteran star may throw a wrench into his plans.

The veteran star in question is none other than John Morrisson (aka John Hennigan). While he is currently away from the Stamford-based promotion, a man of his talents could easily be brought back for a short feud. He has been seen in various rosters in recent years, including on AEW, for a while.

Considering his previous interaction with The Tribal Chief on social media, the seeds for a rivalry are already planted. The Bloodline leader does need a feud to fill the space before SummerSlam, where he may go up against other major players. Ahead of that, Roman Reigns could take apart Morrison to further showcase his dominance.

Roman Reigns will be making a rare appearance at a WWE live event

While The Tribal Chief is known to have scant appearances throughout his title reign, he is slated to appear at the Arena CDMX, Mexico City, on 22nd July. This report comes from WWE's official website.

The report also mentions the involvement of major superstars like Rey Mysterio, Raquel Rodriguez, Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, and Becky Lynch.

"WWE today announced that Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will appear live at the Arena CDMX, Mexico City, on Saturday, July 22. Fans attending WWE SuperShow will see Roman Reigns make his first return to Mexico City since December 2019, appearing alongside WWE Superstars from both Raw and SmackDown including Rey Mysterio, Raquel Rodriguez, Cody Rhodes, Seth 'Freakin' Rollins, Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens and many more*.... As of now, it remains to be seen what the future holds for the Bloodline and its leader.
