#3 Thea Trinidad signs with AEW

In the last couple of years, several released WWE Superstars have signed with AEW and have opened up about their issues with the WWE creative. Some of these names include Jon Moxley (fka Dean Ambrose), Miro (fka Rusev), and the most recent one - Paul Wight (fka The Big Show).

One massive star that parted ways with WWE last year in a controversial manner was Thea Trinidad (fka Zelina Vega in WWE). Her release came after WWE's new third-party ban rules due to which the Superstars were made to close their Twitch accounts.

During a recent appearance on Wrestling Observer Radio, AEW President Tony Khan mentioned that he was waiting for her 90-day "non-compete" clause to get over and seemed very interested.

"Isn't she on a 90-day non-compete? I think she was on a non-compete last time I checked, so I've been waiting for that"

Thea Trinidad's non-compete clause came to an end last month, which allows her to now sign with AEW. While she was mostly featured as a manager on WWE TV for the last few years, she is a talented wrestler who could help solidify AEW's women's roster.
