AEW World Champion Jon Moxley could add a WWE legend to The Death Riders if he inks a deal with the promotion. The star is none other than Batista.

Former WWE Champion Batista retired from in-ring competition after his match against Triple H at WrestleMania 35 in 2019. The veteran has worked with a lot of talent in the promotion including AEW World Champion Jon Moxley. In 2014, Batista, Triple H, and Randy Orton reunited as Evolution to face Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose (Jon Moxley). The Death Rider was recently asked about his interactions with Batista during the rivalry.

In a recent interview, Jon Moxley called Dave Bautista a "cool guy" and recalled having great interactions with The Animal. AEW could capitalize on the statement and bring Batista to the promotion. The former World Champion could join Jon Moxley's Death Riders faction and be its muscle.

However, the chances of the move happening are slim as Batista is a certified WWE Hall of Famer and could get inducted sometime in the future. He also has great relations with WWE. The Animal was set to be inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2020 but due to the pandemic, those plans were put on hold.

AEW World Champion Jon Moxley understands Bryan Danielson's pain

Jon Moxley took out Bryan Danielson and retired him from full-time competition by defeating him for the World Title at AEW WrestleDream. The American Dragon has been very open about his injuries and was once forced to retire from in-ring competition in WWE in 2016.

In a recent interview with TV Insider, Jon Moxley recalled Bryan's WWE injuries and how he fought through them on the road to WrestleMania 30.

"I don't think people understand how much he has gone through physically. I remember the run-up to the WrestleMania he headlined. I was with him pretty much every night, and he was banged up. He was getting through it to get there. A lot of people don't understand the actual physical toll this could take on your body. I don't think people knew how much he was suffering. You would never know it by looking at him. I was there and saw and understood what he went through." [H/T: WrestlingInc.]

Bryan Danielson won the WWE Championship by defeating Randy Orton and Batista in a Triple Threat Match at WrestleMania 30. It will be interesting to see if The American Dragon ever returns to WWE.
