Japanese sensation Hikaru Shida received a warm reception from fans on her way to the ring. Her opponent Dulce Tormenta was making her AEW debut. Shida started the match by locking Tormenta's arm, but the latter reversed the arm lock on Hikaru Shida.

Both women then tossed each other around while displaying their athleticism in the ring. The former Women's Champion then delivered a knee to the chin of Tormenta in the corner of the ring. But Tormenta held things back by hitting her with a shoulder to the midsection.

Tormenta got to the top of the ring post to deliver a crossbody to Hikaru Shida, forcing her out of the ring. Shida came back into the ring and hit her with a double knee down to Tormenta for a two-count.

Both women then tried to deliver their big maneuvers, but Shida finally hit her with a running knee. AEW's Hikaru Shida then caught her with a facebuster for the two-count. Hikaru Shida then hit her with a Katana to win the match.

Result: Hikaru Shida defeats Dulce Tormenta

Mark Sterling and Jade Cargill are in the locker room. Sterling stated that he plans to take Cargill to Hollywood, which is why he brought a producer along with him. The producer spoke to Jade Cargill about her ambitions and enlightened her about the process of Hollywood. The segment ended with AEW's Cargill shaking hands with the producer.

Powerhouse Hobbs made his way out to the ring with new FTW Champion Ricky Starks and Hook.

As the match started, both men stared each other down. Lucas then tried to display his speed and agility, but Hobbs muscled him down. Hobbs then delivered him a Spine Buster to win the match in no time.

Result: Powerhouse Hobbs defeated Lucas Chase
