Chris Jericho attempted a Lionsault on AEW Dynamite this week that did not look good at all, and maybe it's a sign that this move should be retired. Chris Jericho is still part of some of the best matches of the night, but the issue is that we've all grown up watching him perform at the highest level. Wrestling fans don't forget and neither do they forgive easily, as we can see from reactions to this move on social media.

If Jericho isn't going to take a step back and focus on working outside of the ring, I need him to start working like more of a bruiser. Grind down the opponent. Work the body. Bring back the walls.Man about killed himself with a lionsault tonight.
Chris Jericho has toned down his offense over the years, and the 'Judas Effect' move that he employs on AEW Dynamite these days is an evolution of his style, which is something he needs to do for the rest of his arsenal as well.
People have come to expect so much from Jericho because of the level of matches he's put on over the years, that botches like the one we saw on AEW Dynamite just leave them disappointed.
