Cody Rhodes vs QT Marshall on AEW Dynamite

Cody Rhodes was all over QT Marshall as the match began on AEW Dynamite. Cody then went to hit QT with his weight belt but the referee stopped him in his tracks. QT, in turn, smashed Cody with his own weight belt.

Cody fought back and headed to the top rope but QT joined him and hit a superplex. Cody was forced to roll out of the ring to regroup and QT followed him. QT got into a scuffle with Arn Anderson at ringside and this led to the referee throwing Arn out.

Back in the ring, Cody was sent head-first into the middle turnbuckle. Both men exchanged strikes and QT got the better of the exchange with a high boot.

Cody hit back with a moonsault off the top rope and hooked the leg but it was only a two-count. The former TNT Champion went to hit the Cody Cutter but QT hit him with Cross Rhodes for a nearfall. QT followed it up with a Buckle Bomb.

Cody then reversed a Tombstone Piledriver attempt into one of his own and got a nearfall himself. Cody followed it up with a Cross Rhodes but QT kicked out again.

Cody then locked in the Figure 4, forcing Marshall to tap out on AEW Dynamite.

Result: Cody Rhodes def. QT Marshall
