Britt Baker will retain the AEW Women's Championship at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam

AEW was crying out for a top babyface in the women's division and struck gold with Ruby Soho. The former Ruby Riott made her debut at All Out, winning the Women's Casino Battle Royale at the pay-per-view.

Subsequently, she began feuding with Britt Baker and her allies, Rebel and Jamie Hayter. Ruby Soho has picked up wins over Hayter and the entire group in six-man tag team action.

However, it is too soon to take the championship off Britt Baker. She's one of the biggest stars in AEW and the company allows their biggest stars to have lengthy and meaningful reigns. Ruby Soho is a future champion, but Dynamite Grand Slam will be too soon for her.

Prediction: Britt Baker def. Ruby Soho via submission

Sting will suffer his first loss at the hands of FTR at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam

Sting has been unbeaten in AEW so far and his latest issues are with a familiar foe in Tully Blanchard. Tully is the Pinnacle's manager and FTR will fight the Icon and Darby Allin at Grand Slam.

FTR are unquestionably one of the best tag teams in the world and are former AEW tag team champions. Their recent booking has been questionable and they lost their last feud to Santana and Ortiz.

Another loss at Grand Slam would seriously derail their credibility on the roster, which would be a shame considering their stature as one of the greatest tag teams of all time. Expect Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler to go all out in a bid to regain some momentum.

Prediction: FTR def. Sting and Darby Allin via pinfall
