AEW Dynamite Grand Slam Results: Omega vs Danielson, Amazing performance by Sting, Major title match

Bryan Danielson vs Kenny Omega on AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam (continued)

Kenny Omega hit back with a Dragon Suplex on the entrance ramp as AEW Dynamite continued. As Bryan Danielson motioned to try and crawl back into the ring, Omega hit him with a V-Trigger. The referee started the 10-count as Bryan crawled at ringside, but he beat the count at the last second.

Omega didn't give Bryan a break, deadlifting him and hitting a Buckle Bomb in the corner.

Omega was in control, but Bryan tried a roll-up for a two-count. The champion wasn't pleased and hit Danielson with a spinning kick to the back of the head, followed by another V-Trigger in the corner.

Danielson tried to fight his way back with a series of right hands, but Omega quickly replied with a rising knee strike. Both men were on the top turnbuckle as Omega hit an incredible Dragon Suplex from the top rope.

Danielson looked like he was in a spot of bother for a second but hit back with a reverse hurricanrana. Bryan tried to follow up with a Running Knee strike, but Omega caught him in mid-air and powerbombed him, which wasn't enough to put the American Dragon away.

Kenny Omega headed back to the top rope and hit a Phoenix Splash, but the risk didn't pay off. Danielson rolled away, and Omega ended up crashing into the mat. Bryan then punished Omega with a brutal series of boots before trying to lock in the Labell Lock. However, Omega reached the bottom rope again.

Both men continued to trade strikes, and Bryan was about to lock in the Labell Lock as the bell rang and the match ended in a time limit draw.

Result: The match ends in a time limit draw

Grade: A

The Elite came down to the ring after the match and attacked Bryan only for Christian Cage, Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy to come down to the ring to drive them away.
