CM Punk addressed Team Taz and Powerhouse Hobbs next on AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam

CM Punk was out next on AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam, making his way down to the ring for a promo segment. Punk said it had been a while since he was in New York City and even longer since professional wrestling was in NYC.

He added that some people had told him they wanted the angry CM Punk back. The Staright Edge Superstar said that although Team Taz did attack him and tried to put him through a table, he just cracked a smile and was happy when he saw all the fans in the arena.

Punk said that Team Taz had tried to take all this away from him, which made him angry. He added that he needed professional wrestling once again and then sent out a warning to Team Taz.

He warned them that they should have finished him off last week, but they made a mistake by letting him go.

CM Punk had a message for Powerhouse Hobbs and said that he would put the AEW star to sleep at AEW Rampage: Grand Slam.
