#3 Will Christian Cage issue a challenge to Matt Hardy on AEW Dynamite?

For consecutive weeks, Matt Hardy has gotten the upper hand over Christian Cage on AEW Dynamite, be it a sneak attack during a match or an assault backstage. Hardy has capitalized on every opportunity to put down the former WWE star.

It all started at Double or Nothing last month when Captain Charisma eliminated Matt Hardy from the Casino Battle Royale. Since then, Hardy has made Cage his prime target on Dynamite every week.

The feud became extremely personal when Matt Hardy offered a vast sum of money to Christian Cage, asking the latter to retire from professional wrestling.

Based on the direction of this storyline, a singles match between the two veterans seems inevitable. In the upcoming episode, fans can expect Cage to lay out a challenge for Hardy.

Both men have battled numerous times during their WWE stints, but there will certainly be a different vibe surrounding their clash in AEW. Even though it seems like a filler feud for Christian Cage, fighting Matt Hardy would be a perfect mid-card match for AEW to attract more attention.
