CM Punk speaks to Tony Schiavone, drops major Daniel Bryan hint on AEW Dynamite

CM Punk was greeted with another raucous response from the AEW fans as he made his way out for an interview with Tony Schiavone in the ring.

Tony asked CM Punk why he returned and made his way back to pro wrestling after being away for such a long time. Punk said it was to face the likes of Penta, Fenix, Jungle Boy, and his opponent at All Out, Darby Allin.

CM Punk added that he no longer needed to be the Voice of the Voiceless. He then added that when he saw the likes of Darby Allin wrestle, he asked himself if he was still the Best In The World.

Punk added that when he saw Darby Allin, he was the guy who would have been the Straight Edge Superstar's favorite wrestler when he was 15. Punk then said that although Darby Allin didn't fit someone else's definition of a pro wrestler, he had all the heart in the world.

The fans were chanting "Yes" at this point, and CM Punk replied that it was someone else's schtick and the fans would have to wait for a while, dropping a hint on Daniel Bryan's rumored signing with AEW.

CM Punk said his match at AEW All Out against Darby Allin wasn't about proving the haters wrong. It was about proving himself right. Punk then finished off by giving a shoutout to his wife, AJ Mendez.
