Tony Schiavone was in the ring and he invited Hikaru Shida to join him to celebrate her one-year reign as AEW Women's Champion. Shida was presented with the new Championship belt.

As Shida addressed the fans afterward, Dr. Britt Baker's music hit. The doctor told Shida that she was the champion during one of the most difficult periods in pro wrestling history.

However, Britt Baker then said that she was coming for the title on Sunday at Double or Nothing and added that the era of DMD would follow after she won the AEW Women's Championship.

Sky and Page dominated the early stages of the match. They had Stu Grayson isolated in their corner for long stretches as they exchanged tags and worked him over.

Stu Grayson hit Scorpio Sky with an Uranage and finally got the tag. Evil Uno hit Ethan Page with a hurricanrana and followed it up with a Flatiner to Scorpio Sky.

Stu Grayson tagged back in and we saw some great tag team work between them. However, Sky and Page came back to win the match after Sky locked in a Heel Hook and Ethan Page hit the Ego's Edge.

Result: Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky def. Evil Uno and Stu Grayson

Grade: B

Darby Allin came down to the ring after the match with a bunch of guys in Sting masks, one of whom was actually The Icon. They drove off Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky ahead of Sunday's showdown.
