The Lucha Bros vs FTR for the AEW World Tag Team Championships

The challengers to the AEW World Tag Team Championships made a very strong start to the match, working on Rey Fenix. Fenix booted Dax Harwood in the corner and went to tag out. Wheeler charged at him to try and clothesline him but Fenix dodged it and tagged in Penta.

Fenix had Cash Wheeler in the tree of woe on top of Harwood and launched Penta at FTR. The duo then hit stereo superkicks followed by stereo submission holds.

Penta and Dax Harwood were the legal men at this point. Harwood planted Penta in the middle of the ring for a two count. Harwood then antagonized Fenix and distracted the referee while Wheeler tied Penta's mask to the bottom rope. Harwood used the advantage to repeatedly boot Penta in the face as the referee untied him. Penta finally managed to tag out.

Fenix was on fire as he came in, defying gravity and taking out both members of FTR. Fenix hit a double cutter for a nearfall on Harwood. He then ran across the top rope and booted Harwood in the face. Wheeler clocked Fenix in the face with the AAA title belt, but Fenix still kicked out.

Penta then tagged in and went for the Three Amogis as a tribute to the late Eddie Guerrero. Fenix followed up with a Frog Splash for a nearfall as chants of "Eddie" broke out. The Lucha Bros then hit the Fear Factor. It wasn't enough to to get the three count.

Wheeler then put on the mask he and Harwood had worn when they won the AAA tag titles to try and con the referee into who the legal man was. Wheeler went for a roll-up but the referee saw his feet on the rope. The Lucha Bros then spiked Wheeler with an assisted Piledriver and picked up the win.
