AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament final: Miro vs Bryan Danielson
Miro overpowered Bryan Danielson in the opening moments of the AEW Full Gear 2021 match, tossing him across the ring. Danielson hit a back with stiff chops followed by knee strikes across the face and then an uppercut. Danielson continued to light Miro up with strikes in the corner. Miro's power shone through, however, and he tossed Bryan out of the ring.
Bryan avoided Miro's offense, running the ropes before taking the big man down. Miro rolled out of the ring for a respite as Bryan went for a tope suicida. Miro stopped Danielson in his tracks with an uppercut, following it up with a suplex on the floor.
Back in the ring, Danielson found an opening and hit Miro with a running dropkick in the corner. Danielson went for a second but Miro hit a Samoan Drop before tossing Bryan out of the ring. Miro followed Byran out to ringside and went to lawndart him into the ringpost. Bryan blocked it and it was Miro's face which hit the steel.
Danielson got on the apron and hit a running knee. The American Dragon then rolled Miro into the ring and hit a dropkick off the top rope. Miro was back on his knees and Danielson didn't hold back with his patented kicks across the chest.
Bryan locked in a kneebar and Miro looked trapped in the middle of the ring. However, he managed to power his way back to his feet and hit Danielson with a gut-wrench suplex to break free. Danielson didn't relent and locked in a front-face lock, simultaneously driving his knee into Miro.
Bryan then started to viciously stomp the former TNT Champion. Danielson went to hit the running knee strike but Miro slammed Danielson into the mat. Danielson reversed Miro's pinning attempt and locked in the LeBell Lock. Miro just managed to break free.
Miro then invited Danielson to kick him and absorbed the American Dragon's shots. Both men were on the top rope after this as Danielson hit a tornado DDT. Danielson then finally managed to choke Miro out to pick up the win.
