#2 Konnan reacts to Cody Rhodes getting backlash from fans for his gesture on AEW Dynamite
Cody Rhodes has been receiving an outpouring of boos on every AEW show. But the fans' negative response to The American Nightmare reached a new level this past week on AEW Dynamite.
During the eight-man tag team match in the main event, Rhodes tossed his signature weight belt into the crowd as a memento. But surprisingly, the Chicago fans threw it back into the arena, which many viewed as a sign of disrespect to the AEW star. Once the belt found its way back to Rhodes, he again tossed it into the crowd. Though the belt didn't come back this time, it still caused a massive stir.

While speaking on Keepin' It 100, Konnan stated that Cody Rhodes is wrong if he thinks he can get people to like him again:
"Bro, they booed that whole thing," said Konnan. "I was like, holy sh*t, at least show the guy. They were letting him and the company f**k this. Bro, that's a strong message they're sending. They open up the f**king thing, he comes out, and they boo the f**k out of him. He smiles like, I think he thinks he can charm them back into liking him."
Given the way fans continue to boo the former AEW TNT Champion, it will be interesting to see whether Rhodes will finally turn heel.
#1 Jim Cornette reveals one specific area where AEW outsmarts WWE
Jim Cornette had a lot of praise for MJF and CM Punk for their recent heated exchange of words on AEW Dynamite.
The verbal confrontation between Punk and MJF, which saw multiple WWE name-drops, sparked massive discussion among wrestling fans and veterans alike. While speaking on The Jim Cornette Experience podcast, the veteran manager stated that WWE is lagging far behind AEW, as they're more inclined toward the scripted nature of promos.
Jim Cornette noted that this style limits WWE Superstars, so Tony Khan's company will easily blow the competition's television programming out of the water when it comes to promos.
"...You don't see anything real or legitimate or well done in anything the WWE does," said Cornette. "...Even if they had anybody that could talk like this, they don't let them. This is where AEW can easily blow the WWE television programs out of the water with real and entertaining promos because this is the only place where guys are allowed to do them...."
The feud between Punk and MJF instantly captivated viewers, and now fans are wondering how their build-up will unfold before the two stars finally collide in an AEW ring. When they do, it's safe to assume they'll deliver a remarkable match.
