A former champion in AEW could turn babyface for the first time in his All Elite run and split up and feud with former World Champion, Chris Jericho. The star is slowly getting over with the fans as well.
The AEW star in question is Big Bill (fka Big Cass). The 37-year-old star is known for his time in the WWE from 2012 to 2018. He made his All Elite Wrestling debut in 2022 and is also a former World Tag Team Champion in his current run. Big Bill is currently a part of The Learning Tree faction with Chris Jericho and Bryan Keith.
It's been a few months since Big Bill joined forces with Jericho and has been alongside him. On AEW Dynamite recently, a potential split between Big Bill and Jericho was teased. During his promo, The Ocho stated that you are being used if you think you have friends in wrestling, which resulted in the expression on Bill's face changing suddenly.

Interestingly, on an episode of Collision from Cardiff recently, Big Bill was getting a massive reaction from the fans as they cheered him throughout his match. The fans slowly getting behind Bill could lead to his eventual babyface turn.
It will mark Bill's first face turn in his AEW run until now. Moreover, the 37-year-old star could begin a feud with his current mentor, The Learning Tree, Chris Jericho following their potential split as a team.
Chris Jericho is slated for a big match on AEW Dynamite

After multiple altercations between the two in the past few weeks, the match between Jericho and Cassidy is official for Dynamite this week.
Moreover, it will be Jericho's first singles match on AEW TV since All In 2024 and it remains to be seen what transpires.
