There has been great speculation online among fans that Bobby Lashley could make his AEW debut appearance at WrestleDream this weekend, as two of his former Hurt Business comrades are now with the company. Could he bring along a former WWE Superstar for a quick appearance? This would be CJ Perry (fka Lana).

Perry and Lashley were once involved in an infidelity storyline in WWE, with the former cheating on her husband Miro (fka Rusev) with The All-Mighty. This eventually turned into a love square of sorts with Liv Morgan also suddenly jumping into the mix.

Bobby Lashley has reportedly signed with AEW, and all that's left is his debut in the Jacksonville-based promotion. This could be as early as this weekend at WrestleDream. Should he make his debut appearance backstage, similar to MVP and Shelton Benjamin, he could bring in CJ Perry for a quick cameo, and a nod to them working together in the past. She could be around to introduce him to AEW in what could be a one-off thing.

It is unlikely, however, for something of the sort to happen, as Perry is no longer signed with the company. It doesn't help that her ex-husband Miro has also just recently asked for his release.

Is AJ Styles angry? A former WWE legend thinks so.

CJ Perry revealed one interesting detail about her storyline with Bobby Lashley

Last year, while speaking to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, CJ Perry revealed some details regarding her infamous storyline with Bobby Lashley. This included who came up with the idea.

She revealed that it was Vince McMahon himself who came up with this and he was the one who orchestrated the storyline that got all four parties involved. She still expressed her gratitude to the fans who watched everything at the time as despite the mixed reviews, she noted that this helped her career.

She also mentioned that due to its high viewership on YouTube, WWE got a lot of money from this.

At this point, it remains to be seen whether a similar storyline might take place again, whether it was in AEW or WWE, and who could be involved.
