A former WWE World Heavyweight Champion and a former rival of CCO Triple H must replace AEW President Tony Khan as the head booker, in case he decides to step down somewhere down the line.

Tony Khan has had total creative control of AEW for the past few years now. However, TK recently reflected on the possibility of stepping down as chief booker, saying he can't be here forever. Well, the former Triple H's rival in question, Bryan Danielson, must take over creative control in TK's potential absence.

The American Dragon is reportedly serving as the head of the disciplinary committee in AEW. He reportedly is part of the company's booking team as well. Furthermore, Danielson is one of the most respected guys in the Jacksonville-based promotion's locker room and would make a great boss if given the opportunity.

Bryan Danielson could compete with Triple H better given their history

It was reported in the past that Danielson had some real-life heat with Triple H apart from his onscreen feud with The Authority back in 2013-2014. Currently, The Cerebral Assassin has creative control of WWE and has been taking the promotion to new heights leaving their rival promotion, AEW, far behind.

Therefore, putting Bryan Danielson in charge of creative for AEW could be a great move, as Danielson will strive to be better than Triple H given their history. Furthermore, Bryan will be a great representative for Tony Khan's promotion and will change the way fans perceive the promotion currently similar to how Hunter turned things around after taking over from Vince McMahon.

A perfect job for Bryan Danielson after in-ring retirement

Last year, Bryan Danielson cut an emotional promo, where he indicated that he would be preparing to hang up his boots in 2024. In case he decides to retire from in-ring competition, Danielson should put his great wrestling mind to use by handling the creative department in case Tony Khan decides to step down.

Furthermore, Danielson has experience working under a number of great bookers including Tony Khan as well as Vince McMahon, and knows the ins and outs of the booking aspect. Therefore, Bryan's experience could be beneficial for AEW if he takes over creative.

Overall, Bryan Danielson has a great wrestling mind and is beloved by fans around the world. However, only time will tell if Bryan will be the one to replace TK when he steps down.
