Absent star takes a shot at Mercedes Mone following her antics at AEW Summer Blockbuster 2025

A former AEW Women's World Champion took a dig at Mercedes Mone for what she was doing on Summer Blockbuster this week. The star has not been seen on All Elite Wrestling television for over six months.

Absent AEW star Nyla Rose fired shots at Mercedes Mone. Nyla has been with All Elite Wrestling since the promotion's inception in 2019. The 42-year-old star last appeared on TV back in November 2024 on an episode of Rampage. Amid her absence from television, Rose is quite active on social media.

This past Wednesday on AEW Summer Blockbuster, Mercedes joined the commentary team during the match between Toni Storm and Julia Hart. The CEO brought steak just like last week when she joined the commentary team. Nyla Rose took notice of Mercedes' antics this week and took a dig at Mone by stating the following on X (fka Twitter):

"She out here eating bricks again."

After her win over Julia Hart, Mercedes attacked Toni Storm ahead of their AEW Women's World Championship match at All In 2025. While Mina Shirakawa came for the save, Mone took out Mina as well and stood tall while Toni was lying on the floor.

Before Mercedes Mone challenges Toni Storm for the AEW Women's World Championship at All In 2025, she has an opportunity to win another title next week. Mone challenged the CMLL World Women's Champion, Zeuxis, and the challenge was accepted.

Later, Tony Khan made the CMLL World Women's Championship match official between Zeuxis and Mercedes next Wednesday on Grand Slam Mexico.

"CMLL World Women's Championship @MercedesVarnado vs @ZeuxisLucero Mercedes Moné made the challenge tonight, + Zeuxis accepted! They’ll fight for the CMLL World Women's Championship at Grand Slam Mexico NEXT WEDNESDAY!"

The CEO already holds five title belts, and she might become six-belt Mone by winning the CMLL World Women's Championship next Wednesday.
