A wrestling veteran believes that Tony Khan won't be able to sue CM Punk for his controversial remarks.

Konnan is the latest to weigh in on the Tony Khan and CM Punk situation, which hit a fever pitch recently after Punk went on The MMA Hour and criticized his former boss and employer. This interview didn't sit well with Khan who then decided to release unseen backstage footage of AEW All In.

During a recent episode of Keepin' It 100, Konnan was asked if CM Punk could get sued by the AEW boss for his comments in his recent interview. The wrestling veteran stated that he felt that the Straight Edge Superstar didn't say anything that could get him sued.

“Bro, there’s nothing he said there that could get him sued. He said, you know, this place is….I came here to make money, I came here to sell merchandise which I did but I don’t think this is run like a business. You can’t sue him for that and there was a part where he specifically said he told Tony ‘you’re a clown I quit’. Other than that what could he really said that could be sue worthy you know what I mean,” said Konnan. [1:14 - 1:38]

Frankie Kazarian makes a big revelation about Tony Khan

Kazarian was one of the original stars in AEW. In fact, he was one-half of the first AEW World Tag Team Champions. However, after losing the title, his career took a downturn and he eventually left the company and went to TNA Wrestling.

During a recent appearance on Keepin' It 100 podcast, Kazarian revealed that Tony does not listen to advice from wrestling legends and admitted that after a point it gets frustrating to work in such an environment.

“I mean, yeah, a lot of times, you know, if those guys…..if there are, you know, say like he’s not there anymore, but Arn Anderson or Dean Malenko, guys we all respect are great minds to the business…..If these guys are continually telling you or giving this advice and it’s falling on deaf ears. At one point, you just go….you tap out.” [7:10 - 7:33]

It will be interesting to see if Tony Khan will be more receptive to receiving advice and criticism from legends going forward or if he will continue to carry on with business the way he has so far.
