Top AEW talent Adam Cole recently recounted a bizarre interaction with a fan in a public restroom. The star also shared his amusing reaction to the aforementioned incident.
Adam Cole has captured the admiration of fans through his star-making work in ROH, NJPW, WWE, and AEW. However, his run in the Tony Khan-led promotion has suffered somewhat due to the 35-year-old unfortunately sustaining multiple serious injuries over the last couple of years. Nonetheless, Cole remains a prominent part of the company's weekly shows and is currently on the hunt for a shot at his tag-partner-turned-nemesis, MJF.
The Panama City Playboy is synonymous with his iconic catchphrase, "Adam Cole Bay Bay!" which he uses during his entrances, promos, and sometimes even in the middle of his matches as a taunt to his opponent. During a recent appearance on The Happy Hour, Adam Cole talked about instances of his fans saying his catchphrase back to him at unexpected locations, recollecting one incident in particular at a urinal in Atlanta airport.
"One time, I was standing at a urinal, doing the deed, and someone yelled, ‘Adam Cole Bay Bay!’ That was funny. That was a funny moment. I think it was Atlanta Airport. That’s a big connection area for me when I fly. One time, I was there, and someone decided to yell it. I appreciated it. It was nice encouragement," Cole said. [H/T - Fightful]

AEW's Adam Cole shared another interesting anecdote recently
At WWE No Way Out 2006, Randy Orton squared off with Rey Mysterio in a singles match for a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 22.
Despite already having seen the matchup, then-high-school-student Adam Cole had supposedly turned down a kiss from a girl to rewatch the bout between the two legends, according to the AEW star's recent interview with Q101.
"We all were hanging out, two were smooching on the other couch. We had No Way Out, Rey Mysterio vs. Randy Orton — by the way, I was at this show. I was there. I had already seen the match, but I wanted to watch it on DVD and she was trying to kiss me and I said, ‘Hey, listen, not right now, I got to watch Rey Mysterio vs. Orton.’ I was dedicated my friend, dedicated.”
Adam Cole and his long-time ally Kyle O'Reilly will participate in AEW's Dynamite Dozen Battle Royal next week in a bid to secure a match against MJF and take revenge on The Salt of The Earth for hurting Roderick Strong at Full Gear.
