An AEW star has confirmed that she will miss a scheduled appearance. She has revealed the reason behind this decision.
Tay Melo has been absent from AEW TV since she announced her pregnancy at Double or Nothing 2023. Since then, she went on to give birth to a beautiful baby girl named Luna, but she remained absent from TV due to her maternal responsibilities. However, Melo made her return last week at Fyter Fest to save her friend Anna Jay from Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford.
Tay Melo was set to make a scheduled appearance at a fan meet. However, she has now taken to social media to let fans know that she will miss this event since her daughter, Luna, was having a fever. However, she confirmed that Sammy Guevara will still make it to the fan meet.
"Hey friends, I’m so sorry but I won’t be able to make it to today’s appearance. If you were there yesterday, you probably heard me saying Luna was having a fever and stayed home with grandma. She got worse and needs me home right now. Sammy will still be there, and I know he’ll bring the energy! Thanks for understanding," Tay posted.

Tay Melo has not competed in an AEW ring ever since she announced her pregnancy two years ago at Double or Nothing 2023. The star had just returned to the ring earlier this year at Stardom New Year Dream to team with Mina Shirakawa against Athena and Thekla.
After her return last week at Fyter Fest, Tony Khan has confirmed that next week on Dynamite, Tay Melo will team with Anna Jay to face Penelope Ford and Megan Bayne.
