Former AEW star Jade Cargill has just made her first appearance on WWE SmackDown earlier tonight. One of the stars she had worked with previously, Daniel Garcia, recently shared a message following her debut.
The former TBS Champion made her appearance in a backstage segment. Charlotte Flair and new SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis were in a conversation, with the latter booking Flair and Iyo Sky for next week. Cargill then appeared next to them with Triple H, and they all got acquainted with one another.
Daniel Garcia took to Twitter to send a message for Jade Cargill after her debut. Along with posting a photo of the two of them, Garcia had a simple one-word message, which more or less was enough to show his support, despite them being in different promotions now.
"Family." tweeted Garcia.
Triple H comments on when Jade Cargill's WWE debut would be
Jade Cargill being WWE's latest signing has made shockwaves in the wrestling industry. Following it being official, the next big question is when her debut would be.
During the press conference after Fastlane last week, Triple H was asked when people could expect her debut to be. He revealed that the promotion wanted this to be when she was 100% ready for it. There were also discussions on where she would go, as all brands wanted her.
"You don't want to put somebody in a position that they are sort of ready for it, you wanna make damn sure they are ready for it. So no matter what happens, she's going to knock it out of the park. So when is that [Jade's debut]? Not sure. Where she's gonna go? Not sure. I can tell you this, there are a lot of people internally here that are in charge of each brand, everyone wants her, everyone is chomping at the bit to work with her, and I think that is going to create some incredible programming, but I think when she's ready, she's gonna be huge." After her dominant stint in AEW, it will be interesting to see the matches she puts here in WWE, especially with opponents she's never got the chance to share the ring with.
