The American Dragon announced that he would be on his retirement tour last year. After several incredible dream matches, he went for a final run with the AEW World Championship after capturing the title from Swerve Strickland at All In. Jon Moxley dethroning him at WrestleDream in October ended his career as a full-time wrestler.
Tonight on AEW Dynamite, Max Caster faced Swerve Strickland after their confrontation last week. During his entrance, he did his usual rap bars. His first diss was related to Swerve and Bryan Danielson. He wondered how Swerve ended up losing his title to a "crippled guy."

This was a shot at Bryan Danielson, who has been dealing with several injuries over the past year.
"Swerve how'd you lose the belt to a crippled guy?" said Caster. [0:12-0:15]
Apart from these, Caster also discussed a little of Swerve's history, including Hangman burning down his house. In the end, the former AEW World Champion would take the win in what was a one-sided affair.

Growing up, Enzo admired former world champions like AJ Styles, Will Ospreay, Bryan Danielson, Triple H, and Randy Orton for their finishing moves. As an adult, he started to appreciate their character work, as they juggled between heel and babyface gimmicks.
If allowed to produce one final storyline involving his idols, he would have Orton lock horns with John Cena, would be their one last big feud as both of them seem to be approaching the tail end of their careers.
