Bryan Danielson's full-time career came to an end at AEW WrestleDream when he dropped the AEW World Title to Jon Moxley on Saturday. It was an emotional as well as rough night for the veteran.

The American Dragon had previously stated that he would hang up his full-time wrestling boots once he dropped his tile. Jon Moxley beat him on October 12 to win his fourth AEW World Championship, thus retiring Bryan. AEW also shared a farewell post for him on X (formerly Twitter).

A few hours ago, AEW ring announcer Justin Roberts posted his appreciation for Bryan Danielson on his Instagram account. He shared a picture of himself standing alongside the former WWE Superstar and left a thank you note in the caption.

"I've laughed, I've cried, I've hugged and I've choked. Through it all, I've been amazed and in awe of ALL you do @bryanldanielson #ThankYouBryan," he wrote.

Jeff Jarrett on Bryan Danielson’s last match

Speaking on My World podcast, Jeff Jarrett commented on Bryan Danielson's last match as a full-time wrestler. He said that it was very emotional to watch.

“I’ve never felt, because you could feel a crowd, even if they’re not yelling, it was really, really emotional. For him to be heading in there as the champion, and to go out that way, the people in the arena, I don’t think they expected him to lose under any circumstance, being that [the show] was in his backyard, and just how that last scene felt. [...] It was an emotional night," he said.

Double J was one of the stars who tried to help Bryan after The Purveyor of Violence and his heel faction attacked him following the WrestleDream main event. However, he and others were unsuccessful in saving the veteran from Mox and The Blackpool Combat Club's wrath.
