Chris Jericho seemingly took a subtle jab at a top WWE Superstar during his segment tonight on Dynamite. This would be Cody Rhodes, as the Learning Tree referenced one of his quotes from a recent interview.

Jericho did this while addressing the faction's current situation heading into Forbidden Door III. After Big Bill and Bryan Keith discussed the attack from Samoa Joe, Hook, and Katsuyori Shibata, Chris went on the mic to talk to the Buffalo, New York crowd.
Chris Jericho then talked about the one reason he was in AEW: being there for the young guys. This was a reference to Cody Rhodes' recent quote.
In his recent interview on Behind the Turnbuckle,Rhodes talked about how certain legends or big names play coy and say," 'I'm just here for the young guys," but end up having hidden agendas. For Cody, this was an instant red flag, as he'd rather have them be transparent about their intentions.

Chris Jericho's current gimmick as the Learning Tree seems to be what Cody Rhodes described in the interview, and the former has been greatly embodying this persona. Jericho has successfully swayed two stars to stand by his side, and whether he'll end up brainwashing more remains to be seen.

He is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Studies, which influenced his decision of taking up sports writing professionally, and has been an avid fan of the athletic theater since childhood. He believes readers deserve authentic and unique content and aims to report in a manner which pro wrestling fans can easily relate to.
Growing up, Enzo admired former world champions like AJ Styles, Will Ospreay, Bryan Danielson, Triple H, and Randy Orton for their finishing moves. As an adult, he started to appreciate their character work, as they juggled between heel and babyface gimmicks.
If allowed to produce one final storyline involving his idols, he would have Orton lock horns with John Cena, would be their one last big feud as both of them seem to be approaching the tail end of their careers.
Other than pro wrestling, Enzo enjoys keeping up with Basketball, Football, and Formula One. He also loves watching films, playing video games, and listening to music.
