Former Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes referenced an AEW veteran after the Money in the Bank 2025 PLE. The American Nightmare made the reference during the post-show.
AEW star Dustin Rhodes (fka Goldust) was referenced by his brother, Cody Rhodes, after MITB 2025. Cody and Dustin have teamed up many times in their career. The two have also wrestled each other in singles matches during their time in WWE as well as All Elite Wrestling.
At Money in the Bank 2025, The American Nightmare teamed with Jey Uso to take on the team of John Cena and Logan Paul in the main event. Cody and Jey managed to defeat Cena and Paul with some help from a returning R-Truth. Following their big win on the show, Rhodes and Uso appeared on the post-show as well.
