The Aerial Assassin was a win away from taking the top spot in the Gold League of this year's Continental Classic. Before tonight, he was the only undefeated star in the standings.
For the majority of the bout, Ospreay was in control. Early into the match, Darby took a major bump on the ring apron and was banged up for the rest of the match. However, despite all that, the former TNT Champion was able to stay alive and keep himself in the fight.

The match saw several near falls from both competitors as neither one wanted to give in during this dream match.
At a point, it seemed as if Will Ospreay was about to put Darby Allin away with an Os-Cutter and a Storm Breaker. But Allin ended up countering the Storm Breaker into a Scorpion Death Drop. This set him up for the opportunity to hit two Coffin Drops for the win.
