They'd later form "The Swords of Essex." Ospreay also found success with Lucha Britannia, claiming their World Championship title twice.

From 2012 to 2017, Will Ospreay actively competed across the UK independent circuit. He became a regular fixture in promotions like International Pro Wrestling: United Kingdom (IPW: UK). There, he displayed his talent in both singles matches and tag team competition, even reaching the finals of the prestigious UK Super 8 tournament twice. While championship gold eluded him in the tournament, Ospreay did manage to capture the 30-Man Battle Royale in 2014, showcasing his ability to thrive in chaotic environments.
