Mercedes Moné captured the AEW TBS Championship in her first-ever match with the company. The dual champion, who is also the NJPW Strong Women's Champion, is set for her biggest match with the company and already has her own muscle. Now another star is interested in assisting the faction.
The CEO is set to defend the TBS Championship against Britt Baker at AEW All In next month, in their first-ever match. This week's Dynamite saw former NWA star Kamille make her All Elite debut by attacking Baker and linking up with Moné. A former AEW star and pro bodybuilder has just expressed interest in aligning herself with The Brickhouse and The Boss - Kayla Rossi.
Rossi worked 3 AEW Dark matches in 2022, and one in 2023. She won all four matches but reportedly turned down a contract from Tony Khan's company. Now that she's focused on her wrestling career once again, the 35-year-old is looking to become All Elite. She responded to a fan who pitched Moné being protected by Kamille and Kayla:
"MY DREAM. Would be f*****g epic. [heart eyes emoji]@MercedesVarnado," Kayla Rossi wrote.
Moné has not publicly responded to Rossi as of this writing. In her four All Elite matches, Rossi defeated Avery Breaux, Vipress, Ashley D'Amboise, and Angelica Risk. Joey Janela once had major plans for Rossi in All Elite Wrestling.
