A certain former AEW World Champion has seemingly taken a subtle shot at Triple H during tonight's episode of Dynamite while praising a popular star at the start of the show. This would be MJF.

Friedman came out in front of the Buffalo, New York crowd, but before he could say anything he was interrupted by former Jericho Appreciation Society member, Daniel Garcia, who is a Buffalo native.
Garcia prevented the former AEW World Champion from talking smack about his hometown but suddenly did something no one had ever done: praise MJF for all he had done as the champion before his recent hiatus.
Being in a good mood, The Wolf of Wrestling had some compliments for Daniel Garcia as well, as he talked about how he deserved opportunities in AEW. He then talked about how Garcia did not run from the grind, as he was the grind itself.

This was a potential reference to Triple H's indirect comments about Will Ospreay that stirred up controversy sometime back.
The former ROH Pure Champion has been on a great run this year, after falling short at last year's Continental Classic tournament, and it remains to be seen whether he'll convert the opportunities that possibly come his way later on in the year.

Enzo Curabo
Enzo is a Pro Wrestling journalist at Sportskeeda, reporting on AEW. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Studies, which influenced his decision of taking up sports writing professionally, and has been an avid fan of the athletic theater since childhood. He believes readers deserve authentic and unique content and aims to report in a manner which pro wrestling fans can easily relate to.
Growing up, Enzo admired former world champions like AJ Styles, Will Ospreay, Bryan Danielson, Triple H, and Randy Orton for their finishing moves. As an adult, he started to appreciate their character work, as they juggled between heel and babyface gimmicks.
If allowed to produce one final storyline involving his idols, he would have Orton lock horns with John Cena, would be their one last big feud as both of them seem to be approaching the tail end of their careers.
Other than pro wrestling, Enzo enjoys keeping up with Basketball, Football, and Formula One. He also loves watching films, playing video games, and listening to music.
