A former WWE Superstar, who recently made her official AEW debut, made her in-ring return in the Jacksonville-based promotion on the most recent episode of Collision after nearly 20 months.

The star in question is Deonna Purrazzo. The 29-year-old star was released from WWE back in 2020. Following the release, she had a run in Ring of Honor as well as TNA (fka Impact Wrestling). After finishing up with Impact, Purrazzo made her return to AEW TV on the January 3 episode of Dynamite by confronting Mariah May. It was later announced that she has signed with AEW.

The Virtuosa last wrestled on Tony Khan's promotion back on May 4, 2022, where she lost the match to then-ROH Women's Champion Mercedes Martinez.

On the most recent episode of Collision, Deonna made her AEW in-ring return after nearly two years in a match against Red Velvet.

After a great back-and-forth encounter, Deonna Purrazzo managed to secure the victory and make a statement at the beginning of her new journey as an All-Elite wrestler.

There were speculations of her going All Elite for the past few weeks, and it remains to be seen how Deonna fares in the women's division.

Let us know in the comments how you feel about former WWE star Deonna Purrazzo officially being a part of the AEW women's division.
