A major error happened tonight on AEW Dynamite during the first few moments of the show featuring the Hurt Syndicate. This came from the commentary desk.

For a few years now, Excalibur, Tony Schiavone, and Taz have worked commentary for Dynamite. However, due to the former ECW Superstar recuperating from knee surgery, several other names have replaced him on commentary, including Daddy Magic and Nigel McGuinness.
Shelton Benjamin's match against Mark Briscoe was the opener of tonight's show. However, Tony Schiavone may have momentarily mixed the Hurt Syndicate's names, as at one point, while he was complimenting Benjamin, he accidentally called him "Lashley."

Excalibur was quick to correct him, and Schiavone also realized his mistake right away. Nigel had a different reaction, beginning to berate him for this mistake. This was not new to the duo, as they also had similar moments during their time on the desk for Collision.
He claimed that The All Mighty was too impressive, and the veteran could not get him out of his head.
In the end, Shelton won the match and earned three points in his Continental Classic debut. It remains to be seen how far the Hurt Syndicate member will go in the tournament.

He is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Studies, which influenced his decision of taking up sports writing professionally, and has been an avid fan of the athletic theater since childhood. He believes readers deserve authentic and unique content and aims to report in a manner which pro wrestling fans can easily relate to.
Growing up, Enzo admired former world champions like AJ Styles, Will Ospreay, Bryan Danielson, Triple H, and Randy Orton for their finishing moves. As an adult, he started to appreciate their character work, as they juggled between heel and babyface gimmicks.
If allowed to produce one final storyline involving his idols, he would have Orton lock horns with John Cena, would be their one last big feud as both of them seem to be approaching the tail end of their careers.
Other than pro wrestling, Enzo enjoys keeping up with Basketball, Football, and Formula One. He also loves watching films, playing video games, and listening to music.
