There is dissension in The Hurt Syndicate following what went down in one of their members' matches on the latest episode of AEW Dynamite. In tonight's opening contest, Shelton Benjamin was in action against Kyle Fletcher in a Blue League match for the Continental Classic.

It was a close contest between the two stars, with neither man completely dominating the match. In the end, Fletcher sneaked up a roll-up pin, using the middle rope as leverage for a pinfall. This put him at six points, and he leads the Blue League.
Backstage, MVP and Bobby Lashley confronted Shelton Benjamin following his loss. MVP was upset with what went down, as he berated Benjamin. He claimed he was too busy playing around when he should have done everything to hurt Fletcher. He wished to remind him how The Hurt Syndicate operated.

The Standard of Excellence was also frustrated, and he took it out on the backstage personnel who passed by him. MVP and The All Mighty joined in, as they, too, kept dragging in anyone they could find backstage, taking out a total of four personnel.
MVP was satisfied with the scene they left, as he believed this was what they should be doing, hurting people.

If allowed to produce one final storyline involving his idols, he would have Orton lock horns with John Cena, would be their one last big feud as both of them seem to be approaching the tail end of their careers.
