A current NJPW star has addressed the rumors of his former partner potentially heading to WWE to join The New Bloodline. The star also revealed he has no friends now.

The NJPW star in question is El Phantasmo. The 37-year-old star recently competed in a Ladder Match for the AEW TNT Title at Forbidden Door in a losing cause. Phantasmo was also in a tag team with the Anoa'i family member, Hikuleo, who is now a free agent.

In a recent YouTube video uploaded by New Japan Pro Wrestling, El Phantasmo opened up on his Ladder Match at Forbidden Door 2024. He also addressed the rumors of his former partner, Hikuleo, heading to the Stamford-based promotion to join The New Bloodline.

“Here we are. Forbidden Door Three in the world’s famous city, New York City, and I should be happy that ELP just to compete in a Ladder Match for the TNT Title. Obviously, I didn’t win, but what actually hurts the most, I know you guys know what’s going on with G.O.D., the rumors about Hikuleo going to WWE, but this is AEW," he said.

El Phantasmo also expressed his sadness about having no friends.

"This is where Jay [White] and Juice [Robinson] both are. They said they were gonna come to Forbidden Door and support me, and neither of them are here. Neither of them responded to my text messages. I’m hurt; I have no friends. I don’t know how I feel about wrestling right now. I’m sorry; I don’t know!" he added. [H/T: Fightful]

The Bloodline took out The Wiseman on WWE SmackDown

Last week on SmackDown, Solo Sikoa, along with Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa introduced Jacob Fatu to The New Bloodline. The trio acknowledged Solo as their new Tribal Chief. However, Paul Heyman refused to acknowledge Solo as The Head of The Table. Hence, The Wiseman was taken out by the group and was slammed through an announce table as well.

Meanwhile, it will be interesting to see if Hikuleo joins The Bloodline 2.0 in the coming weeks.
