Jade Cargill, Tay Melo, Kevin Nash, and others react to absent AEW star's rare personal update

A current AEW star shared an unfortunate personal update and people from the wrestling fraternity such as Jade Cargill, Tay Melo, Kevin Nash, and so on reacted. The star shared the update on social media.

The AEW star in question is Rebel Tanea. Rebel has been with All Elite Wrestling since 2020. However, she has yet to wrestle on TV since 2022. Meanwhile, Rebel shared a personal update. Rebel Tanea recently took to Instagram on the occasion of her birthday to share that she has pneumonia.

"Next year, expect a very fit birthday bikini pic 😉 This year has not been what I expected. I’ve kept this private until now bc I believe I’m on the up. Thank you to the very few who knew what was going on and kept it private. And for those who didn’t know, I’ll spare you the details but in short."

"I was hospitalized in May for a good while bc they found a mass in my lung that they couldn’t figure out what it was, turns out it’s pneumonia. A couple of ct scans found some other minor issues that I am taking care of. I feel better every day, now that I am getting a handle on these things. cheers to another trip around the sun 🎂🥂."

Jade Cargill once again became champion in the WWE

Jade Cargill made her move from AEW to WWE last year and has had a decent run in the promotion until now. At the recent Bash in Berlin PLE, the former AEW TBS Champion won the Women's Tag Tag Championship alongside Bianca Belair for the second time by defeating The Unholy Union.

Cargill seems to have a bright future in the Stamford-based promotion as she has been presented as a huge star ever since she made the jump from AEW.

As for her former colleague and wrestling peer, Rebel, it remains to be seen when she will return to action in AEW.
