Former WWE Champion Jeff Hardy recently recalled his WrestleMania 33 return and pointed out one thing he did not like about it. Matt and Jeff Hardy (The Hardy Boyz) made their shocking return to the Stamford-based promotion at The Showcase of The Immortals in 2017.

The legendary duo was added to the RAW Tag Team Title Ladder Match at The Show of Shows, and they managed to capture the prized gold during their memorable return.

On the recent edition of the Busted Open podcast, The Charismatic Enigma revealed he did not want to return at WrestleMania with the iconic Hardy Boyz theme song, and he spoke to current AEW FTW Champion Chris Jericho about it.

"To be honest, when we went back to WrestleMania 33, I remember talking to [Chris] Jericho after, and I was like, 'Yeah, man, it was pretty cool even though they played that old a** Hardy Boyz music!' Yeah, I'm kind of tired of that Hardy Boyz music; really tired, to be honest, but the people aren't. I didn't realize how good it was going to be, and now to still get such a good reaction because of our careers and all we've given to the business, it's just super cool to hear," he said. Jeff Hardy wants to get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame with his brother

The Charismatic Enigma has built an incredible resume as a singles star, but he first gained popularity alongside his brother Matt Hardy as part of The Hardy Boyz. The duo is one of the most accomplished tag teams in professional wrestling and has won several tag titles across promotions, including WWE.

The Stamford-based promotion offered Jeff a spot in the WWE Hall of Fame during his previous stint. During the same episode of the Busted Open podcast, the former AEW star revealed that he rejected the Sports Entertainment juggernaut's offer as he wanted to get inducted along with Matt Hardy.

"For sure, man. When I denied it the first time, it didn't feel right going in there without Matt [Hardy]. I mean, I cried after that phone call. I was just thinking about all the really cool moments I've given to the pro-wrestling world. I'm so proud of it, but it didn't feel right at all. So, I just wanted to wait. If I did do this, I'm definitely doing that with Matt, you know. It'll be a Hardy Boyz thing. I just want one ring; I don't want two rings," Hardy said. [From 13:00 to 13:30]

It will be interesting to see if Matt and Jeff Hardy return to WWE in the future.
