Jon Moxley made his much-anticipated return to AEW on the latest episode of Dynamite and challenged a 33-year-old star to a match. The talent in question is Powerhouse Hobbs.

The Purveyor of Violence walked into the April 17, 2024 edition of AEW Dynamite draped in gold as the newly crowned IWGP World Heavyweight Champion. Moxley addressed a white-hot crowd in the Indiana Farmers Coliseum and reflected on winning one of his first championships in Indianapolis.

The Ohio native went on to discuss his pursuit of the top prize in NJPW before turning his attention to the Don Callis Family and the vicious assault carried out by Konosuke Takeshita on Bryan Danielson on AEW Collision last week. Moxley revealed his intention to strike back against the heel faction and laid out a challenge for Powerhouse Hobbs. The Ace of the World called out the former TNT Champion to face him in the main event of Dynamite next week.

Hobbs unsuccessfully teamed with Kyle Fletcher to take on Moxley's BCC stablemates, Bryan Danielson and Claudio Castagnoli, on Collision. Earlier this month, he also lost to his fellow faction member Will Ospreay, who is scheduled to take on The American Dragon at the upcoming pay-per-view, Dynasty, this Sunday.

It remains to be seen whether the budding 33-year-old star manages to secure an upset victory over the former All Elite Wrestling World Champion on Dynamite.
