AEW World Champion Jon Moxley recently opened up about the story behind one of his old friend's success in the WWE. Mox also teamed with the star years ago.The star in question is the current United States Champion LA Knight. The Megastar has become one of the most over stars in the WWE. Knight is a top-draw SmackDown as well. Meanwhile, the current AEW World Champion, Jon Moxley talked about Knight's huge success.Moxley in his early days also teamed up with LA Knight in WWE as an enhancement talent in 2006 and the two have known each other for a long time. Speaking on SHAK Wrestling recently, Moxley revealed the story behind Knight's incredible success in the Stamford-based promotion, stating that it took 20 years:"It's just the perfect example of like the overnight success story that took 20 years and you know people think in all walks of life that they have such impatience for stuff and they give up as soon as things turn hard, as soon as there are challenges put in front of them. Especially in this sport it's such a up and down and nobody's road is just consistent and good all the time to the top."Moxley further stated that it took a lot of work for LA Knight to get to this point as he had his own vision:"And no matter what anybody told him, he just had his vision and his intention and he just stuck with it for years and years and never wavered. Then all of a sudden one day like people think they just picked him up out of the blue like they had a WWE casting call one day and they just hired him. No, it took 20 years of eating sh*t to get to that point and that's a lesson people should learn from."
