The Lucha Bros are world-class athletes and create magic when they tag together as a team. Both the stars were AEW originals and won the AEW World Tag Team Championships once. Despite having huge potential, the Jacksonville-based promotion failed to utilize them to their full limit in recent years.

A few months ago, reports about the Lucha Bros leaving All Elite Wrestling to join the global sports entertainment juggernaut emerged. While it was known that Penta's contract was up around September or October, Fenix's contract details were still a mystery.
