Just moments ago, on this week's episode of AEW Dynamite, Adam Copeland's match received an unfortunate twist, putting him at a huge disadvantage. This came at the hands of The House of Black.

The Rated-R Superstar was set for mixed tag team action as he was going to team up with Willow Nightingale to face Julia Hart and Brody King of the House of Black. However, just right before her entrance, she was seen backstage seemingly banged up from an attack.

Moments later, Hart and King came into the ring to surround Adam Copeland and take advantage of the situation. It seemed that they intentionally went after Willow backstage to isolate Copeland in the ring. He now had to deal with a handicap for the majority of the match.

Adam Copeland was able to hold his own against Brody King, even coming close to getting the win. After some time, Willow was seen walking down the ramp, coming to the aid of her tag team partner. This then shifted the momentum in their direction.

But, Julia Hart took advantage of all the chaos to blindside Nightingale with a steel chain and go for her Hartless submission hold to give them the win.

Post-match, it seemed as if Hart did not want to let go of the hold, and this prompted Mercedes Moné to come out with a steel chair and send the House of Black running.
