Major AEW star clarifies whether he took shots at Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns after Dynasty match

An AEW star cleared the air regarding the interpretation of his recent post, in which it seemed he is taking a shot at Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and his recent WrestleMania 40 match against Roman Reigns.

The major AEW star in question is former FTW Champion Brian Cage. Brian recently had high praise for the dream match between Will Ospreay and Bryan Danielson at the Dynasty pay-per-view. He also seemingly took a shot at the Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns match at WrestleMania 40 with his recent tweet.

After facing major backlash for his post, Cage reacted by saying, "Why even bother with this app" in his other post on 'X' social media. Meanwhile, the former FTW Champion finally clarified his recent posts claiming he did not take a shot at Roman or Cody, while also admitting that the Ospreay vs. Danielson match was the best.

Brian Cage yet again took to the 'X' social media platform to clarify his previous posts after facing major backlash. His post was long and continued in the thread of the tweet:

"1st of all, My "bother with this app" tweet had nothing to do with the best match tweet. 2ndly, yes, I enjoyed Ospreay and Danielson more than anything else this year, and "the story" is obviously incredibly relevant, but I did not take a shot at Cody, Roman, WWE or anything or..."

AEW star revealed he texted Cody Rhodes after his title win

Brian Cage also clarified that he never made any negative comments regarding anyone or any match with his tweet but only shared his opinion on the best match. Furthermore, Cage also disclosed that he texted Cody Rhodes right after his Undisputed Title win at WrestleMania 40 in the thread of his 'X' post:

"I wasn't saying anything sucked or any negative comments about anything/one with wrestling. I made a very sincere personal opinion that this was the best match so far this year. I texted Cody right after he won the title."

Moreover, Brian Cage went on to explain why he thinks Will Ospreay is the best wrestler before concluding that Bryan Danielson and Ospreay had a better match. Meanwhile, Cage has not been on AEW TV for quite a while now and only time will tell when he returns to the ring.
