The Young Bucks have been one of the most ardent heels over the last year, and they have taken their game to another level. Recently, they have been using the 'Founding Fathers' gimmick and have started to come out in gear that resembles the old times.

Matthew Jackson recently spoke about it on his YouTube channel livestream. He revealed that the mastermind behind their gimmick was none other than AEW EVP and Head of Global Production Mike Mansury.

“That was kind of a collab. Me and my brother, we've been really leaning into the Founding Fathers thing. I think it's been clicking and working, so we came up with the idea of we should dress up as the literal Founding Fathers and then one thing led to another about having a big elaborate entrance. Mike Mansury works with us at AEW. He's like a genius. He comes up with some incredible ideas. He wrote out everything that Justin Roberts said. I thought it was just so brilliantly written. It was just phenomenal," Jackson said. [H/T Wrestling Inc]

AEW star Matt Jackson met Kevin Owens last year

In the same live stream, AEW star Matt Jackson also revealed how he met up with current WWE star Kevin Owens in what was a surprise meeting.

“Yeah, he looks very familiar. I go, 'Oh my Gosh. Is that Kevin? It's Kevin Steen, Kevin Owens, as you may know him.' I sneak up to him and he's taking pictures with his kids and stuff. 'Hey Kev, what's up man.' He turns around and looks at me. His eyes are so big, he doesn't even know how to react. He goes, 'Oh my God.' He grabs me and hugs me, the biggest bear hug ever. I don't think he let go for ten seconds. 'What are the chances!' We're just talking, getting caught up, because it had been a minute. It was so cool because literally the rest of the vacation, we kind of had our vacation together. It was last March,” he said.

It just goes to show that despite working for different companies, there is still genuine respect between the AEW and WWE stars.
