Mercedes Moné, formerly known as Sasha Banks, recently teased a huge possibility at the upcoming Forbidden Door Pay-Per-View. She is the current TBS Champion and won the title after defeating Willow Nightingale at the AEW Double or Nothing 2024 Pay-Per-View.

The CEO has made a huge statement in the Jacksonville-based promotion as she became a top champion in her in-ring debut match. On the next episode of Dynamite following the huge event, she defeated Skye Blue in an impromptu contest. She was then confronted by top NJPW star Stephanie Vaquer. The Chilean star currently holds the Strong Women's Championship.

The duo faced each other in NJPW in 2023. They are slated to face each other once again at the Forbidden Door 2024 Pay-Per-View, where both of their championships will be on the line. It implies that either Mercedes or Stephanie could walk out as the double champion from the match.

Ahead of their high-stakes encounter, Mercedes Moné shared a message on X/Twitter, implying she wanted to add another title to her catalog at the Forbidden Door 2024 Pay-Per-View.

"This belt looks lonely….I can fix that #ForbiddenDoor," Mercedes Mone shared.

What the future has in store The CEO remains to be seen.

WWE veteran believes "Timeless" Toni Storm should defeat Mercedes Moné in AEW

"Timeless" Toni Storm has been the AEW Women's World Champion for months. A WWE veteran thinks that the 28-year-old star should hand Mercedes Mone her first loss in the Jacksonville-based promotion.

While speaking on the Gigantic Pop podcast, Matt Morgan mentioned that Mercedes should get pinned by Storm in their potential match, which would further elevate the stature of Toni in the Jacksonville-based promotion.

"I would definitely, absolutely, no question, have her go next for Toni Storm. Now here's what he do with that though. Because yes, you're paying Mone all that money, right? And she's a much bigger name than Toni Storm. But you have an opportunity to make Toni Storm [shows inequality between them with Mercedes being high] Here's Mone up here. [shows to bring Mercedes and Toni to the same level] You have the opportunity to maybe do this if you book Toni Storm to pin Mone somehow," Matt Morgan said.

It will be interesting to see if Mercedes Moné manages to win another championship in only her third match in the Tony Khan-led promotion.
