Mercedes Moné makes massive announcement; issues challenge for another title

Mercedes Moné made a bold announcement tonight at AEW Summer Blockbuster. It seems that she is set on reaching another major milestone by winning another title.

The CEO currently possesses five belts: the AEW TBS Championship, two belts that make up the RevPro Undisputed British Women's Championship, the commemorative belt for the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament winner, and the EWA Women's Championship. She is aiming for her sixth, as she is set to challenge Toni Storm for the AEW Women's World Championship at All In: Texas.

It seems that Mercedes Moné plans to make a detour before All In. Tonight, while watching Toni Storm vs. Julia Hart on AEW Summer Blockbuster, she was live-posting on X/Twitter. She expressed her desire to go for another title and mentioned wanting to challenge for the CMLL Women's Championship at Grand Slam: Mexico next week.

"5Beltz…Moné doesn’t want to wait til #AEWAllInTexas to win another title…so next week at Grand Slam: Mexico I want to challenge for the CMLL World Women’s Championship. #aewdynamite," Moné wrote.

If she ends up with the win next week, she'll have six belts heading into All In: Texas. She might leave the pay-per-view with seven belts.
