MJF has accomplished a lot in his thriving career as an AEW top star. Amidst gloating about himself in his classic narcissistic manner, he seemingly took a huge shot at one of his past rivals, Cody Rhodes, and another renowned WWE legend.

The veteran, dragged by The Wolf of Wrestling alongside Rhodes, is none other than his older brother, Dustin Rhodes. Maxwell Jacob Friedman had a classic feud with The American Nightmare during the latter's tenure in AEW. It culminated in a massive showdown at the Revolution 2020 pay-per-view, where MJF defeated WWE's current poster boy.

In a recent tweet posted on X, The Salt of the Earth listed down many of the top names he had beaten in his wrestling career and his accolades ahead of a major match on the horizon. Interestingly, he fired a subtle shot at both Cody and Dustin Rhodes in the same breath, referring to their last name as 'Rhoades.'

It seemed like MJF referred to the popular adult industry star, Lana Rhoades, who has been hilariously linked to being part of the Rhodes family on a few occasions.

MJF will be in action at AEW Grand Slam Mexico

In the same post that he was mocking Cody and Dustin Rhodes, MJF was hyping his upcoming match against the international sensation, Mistico. The bout has been scheduled for AEW Grand Slam: Mexico, set to take place in Arena Mexico, on June 18, 2025.

The newest Hurt Syndicate member had called out Mistico a few weeks ago when All Elite Wrestling announced his return to the promotion. He was involved in a match last week at Summer Blockbuster against Blake Christian, where he emerged victorious. However, he was subjected to a beatdown by his upcoming opponent and his faction.

Moreover, Maxwell Jacob Friedman is set to resurrect his former 'American Hero' persona for one night only. With the blockbuster match rapidly approaching, it will be a fight to remember in one of the most popular venues in Mexico.
