Does this appearance in any way hint at Alexa Bliss
Does this appearance in any way hint at Alexa Bliss' future in pro wrestling?

WWE Superstar Alexa Bliss has not been seen on television in months, but earlier today AEW star Athena (Ember Moon) took to social media to reveal that the two have been spending time together.

Bliss was last seen in WWE at the Royal Rumble event in January when she took on Bianca Belair. Leading up to the clash, there were many hints that she was set to reunite with Bray Wyatt. However, both stars have been absent from the promotion for months.

Athena recently took to social media to share a picture of her hanging out with Veda Scott and Alexa Bliss, marking it as one of the first times the star has been seen since her absence.

"@vforveda @alexa_bliss_wwe_ You will never know how happy this made me!!!!" Athena posted.

While it was initially reported that Wyatt and Bliss would enter into a storyline upon their return. Wrestling Observer recently claimed if Alexa does make a return without any hint of The Eater of Worlds, it would mean that the promotion has given up on him.

Vince Russo believes that stars like Alexa Bliss are too entangled with their WWE identities

The Stamford-based promotion has lost many stars to AEW, who had to forgo their ring names and establish themselves under new monikers in the Jacksonville-based promotion. However, could this actually be to their detriment?

During an episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing with Russo, the wrestling veteran explained that many stars in the WWE wouldn't be able to make it outside of the promotion without their ring names.

"I could not tell you what Elias' real name is. I could not tell you what Alexa Bliss' real name is. I don't know if Bianca Belair is her real name. I don't know. If all of a sudden if they are not there tomorrow, I don't know who they are," said Vince Russo. (9:17 - 9:34)

It remains to be seen if Bliss will be a top competitor once she returns, but so far, it seems that the Stamford-based promotion hasn't given up on her. Unfortunately, fans hoping for her to jump to AEW might just have to wait a lot longer.
